When things go right, write it down.

PDF download plus the live Google Sheet scorecard template. No drip sequence. No sales follow-up.

A note from Katonga

If you have sat in a Richard James workshop, watched a Self Flow video on a Monday morning, or stared at your LSSH numbers wondering why your show rate is off this week, you and I are on the same road. I put this kit together because the road keeps changing. The tools I needed two years ago are not the tools I need now, and the ones I will need in two years do not exist yet. What I have works for me today, and I would rather hand it to a peer than keep it on my own hard drive.

Everything in here is something I actually use. The scorecard goes on the wall in my office every Monday. The meeting playbook runs our daily huddles and our department flow meetings. The roadmap template sits open during quarterly planning. The prompt library got tested against real work in my firm before I would put my name on it.

You are getting it because the Partners Club and YPM communities gave me the framework I built around. This is one small way to give some of that back. I am also putting my name in for Entrepreneurial Attorney of the Year this season, and yes, if any of this proves useful inside your firm, I would be honored to have your vote when ballots open. The kit is yours either way — that part is not conditional.

What's in the kit

Four resources, sixteen pages, one cohesive operating system. The PDF is fillable in Acrobat, in your browser, and inside Google Drive, and the scorecard ships with a live Google Sheet version you can copy into your own workspace in about thirty seconds. Nothing in here is locked or watermarked beyond the cover page. Put your own paint on it after you have driven it for a while.

Resource 1

The Daily Law Firm Performance Scorecard

If you have heard the phrase “you cannot improve what you do not measure” enough times that it has lost its edge, this scorecard is the antidote. It tracks the full LSSH funnel — Leads, Sets, Shows, Hires — alongside daily call and activity volume, financial pulls, and marketing source attribution, all on a single sheet your team fills in throughout the day instead of reconstructing at five o’clock from memory. Real-time entry catches problems while they are still small. The benchmark targets are baked in next to every field — show rate 70 to 85 percent, hire rate 12 to 18 percent, daily outgoing calls 30 to 60 — so anyone glancing at the page can tell whether today is on the rails. A live Google Sheet version is linked inside the kit for firms that want to skip the printing.

Resource 2

The Law Firm Meeting Playbook

Three meeting structures sit at the operational heart of every growing firm I know: a daily all-hands huddle, twice-weekly department flow meetings split between front-of-house and back-of-house, and a monthly all-hands engagement meeting that builds culture on purpose instead of leaving it to chance. The playbook walks through every agenda, every duration, every question to ask, every Self Flow opening, and every shout-out moment. The engagement ideas section alone — murder mysteries, vision board parties, virtual cooking and mixology, escape rooms, gratitude ceremonies, volunteer days — is worth lifting wholesale if you are tired of the same defaults. Remote-friendly run-of-show tips are included because half the firms reading this work hybrid.

Resource 3

The Four-Phase Law Firm Roadmap

This is the strategic planning piece. Four phases — Foundation, Breakthrough, Reinvestment, Explosion — drawn from Simon Sinek’s Infinite Game framing and built around the kind of honest self-assessment most strategic plans skip past. Every phase pairs fillable numbers — revenue, net income, team size, the metric that proves the bet worked — with reflection questions you probably have not asked yourself in a while. “If you left for 30 days, would the firm still run?” sits in Phase 1 for a reason. The template closes with a five-year infinite vision page that pulls the whole thing together, and it is designed to live alongside your Partners Club 90-Day Action Plan, not compete with it.

Resource 4

The AI Prompt Library for Attorneys

Fifteen prompts you can copy, swap the bracketed inputs for your details, and run today against ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot. The categories cover intake and client communication (consultation follow-up, “I need to think about it” objection handling, appointment reminder sequences), legal drafting (demand letters, monthly client status updates, plain-English case translation for clients with no legal background), business operations (weekly meeting agendas, intake hire job descriptions, SOP drafting from scratch), and marketing plus strategy (performance reviews tied to LSSH, engagement activity briefs, Google review requests, quarterly SWOT, presentation prep). Each prompt closes with a one-line implementation tip from real-world use — the kind of detail that separates a prompt that works on the first try from one you have to argue with for twenty minutes.

Built for the room you are already in

If you run a firm inside The Richard James Partners Club or work the system through Your Practice Mastered, none of the vocabulary in this kit will be new to you. You already know what LSSH means. You have already heard Richard talk about the difference between working in the business and working on it. You have read or absorbed enough of The Infinite Game that the four-phase roadmap will land before you finish the first paragraph. What you may not yet have is a clean, branded, fill-in-the-blank version of all of it sitting in one folder, ready to hand to a new hire on their first day or to bring into your next leadership offsite. That is what this is. Use it inside your firm. Hand it to your team. Build on it. Send a copy to the attorney in your mastermind group who keeps saying they need to get organized but has not.

Katonga Wright

Attorney At Law

Katonga Wright, Esq. is the managing partner of The Wright Legal Group, LLC, and an active member of the Richard James Partners Club community. She built her firm on the conviction that legal work is only half the job — the other half is running a business that can actually deliver on the legal work. She is a candidate for the 2025 Partners Club Entrepreneurial Attorney of the Year award. When things go wrong, clients call Wright. When things go right, she writes the system down so the next person in her seat does not have to figure it out alone.

“Meetings are not overhead. They are infrastructure.” — Katonga Wright

A word about Entrepreneurial Attorney of the Year

The Partners Club EAY award is decided by member vote. If this kit saves you a planning weekend, sharpens a Monday morning huddle, or gives your team a scoreboard they actually fill in, I would be honored if you would consider me when ballots open this season. Either way, the resources above are yours to keep, to copy, and to use however serves your firm. The road to success is always under construction — better that we build it together than each of us alone with a clipboard.
